    T-shirts with embroidery

Just had a question come to mind that I would like a response on.
I have looked at the transfer T-shirts and realized that I can't wear that type to more formal things like work. But if there was an embroidered one I would. Has anyone ever seen an XJ1100 or XS shirt out there with a collar?

It's certainly able to be done, I used to be in the Uniform business, and still have a few contacts..

Are you thinking of the logo? or a picture of the bike..??

I had an interest in getting something that is a bit classier than a T-shirt. I would like to see something with the combined xs/xj and a small version of the bike or a slogan of some sort that we all could use. Might be nice to do a poll, unless one has been done that I am not aware of, that puts half a dozen slogans in front of the folks and get some feedback.

      What think ye?

I saw the hats and keychains. I am reserving judgement until I have one before I express my opinion.

I am interested, and was talking to my embroidery guy who prints me shirts for my job. He can get us some items that cost around $15 for t-shirts or $25 for polo shirts. I can give you a number if you want......RB

          RB,

Sounds interesting but I don't know if there is enough interest in the forum to have something done. I am new enough to this that I really don't know how to proceed in getting feedback. Do you?

Any use of the website logo or XS XJ owner assoc name would have to be talked over with JP......send him an e-mail or PM before you do anything. Eventually there is going to be a store here but not sure how those plans are progressing. I would like a polo type shirt as well.

              Gary,

Sent JP and email and am waiting his response. I would love to see several different kinds of items as I really like my bike and would love to have something that reflects my interest. Why should harley have the only cool stuff?

We can get the original stuff (t-shirts, shorts, coffee mugs, sweatshirts, etc.) from cafepress. Here is a link to the stuff the club has there, a small amount of the purchase price comes back to the website.

                    Gary,

I would like to have something where the logo is smaller and there is a collar so that it would be something useable for a different kind of setting than a sweat or t-shirt would be. Like taking SWMBO out for a quiet dinner. She might even wear one.

Were those logos transfers or embroidery?

I haven't heard back from JP yet but I think that some of the proceeds from this shirt should come back to the group as well. I would be happy to work with anyone to facilitate getting something like that made.

The are a transfer of some type, just letting you (and others) know they are available.

                        Thanks Gary.

If you don't tell then they don't know, right?

Those pages were the reason that I began asking the questions about the logos.

                          Hey Guys,

Those are excellent transfers! I've worked with them alot, and they look the best i have seen in years!

As far as Polo's they should be able to put that transfer onto a polo, I emailed them to ask...

I know from the past work with these things that a new design could be pricey at first, but I'll keep lookin into it..

If you follow the links in from the goodies section, say for a t-shirt , then click on any one of the items, another information screen will open with all the info you'll need. They will handle international orders. Shipping via DHL for apparel items is US$7 for the first item.
