Hi all..............would like to know if any fellow XSer in the Rapid City area, or at least near there would be able to put up my girlfriend and I for one, possibly two nites, either a spare room or yard (have tent,etc.) Since we're not getting any younger, we decided to 'do' Sturgis as part of our ride. We're more interested in seeing the monuments and other historical sites in that area via motorcycle. I think part of one day of the Sturgis event itself will satisfy us, and the rest seeing more interesting things. From there, we plan on going to Cody to take in the National Firearms Muesum since all four floors are done now(I was there some nine years ago), then on to Yellowstone down through Tetons to Salt Lake and back home. Tentatively, we would be in the Rapid City area late afternoon/evening Friday the 3rd and leave Sun. the 5th. Any open doors along with area riding options would be appreciated along with gratuity........Thanks, Brant.

I've been in more than one Hemisphere, and I wrote a book to help you do it too (or just prepare better for that week long road trip). Going Small, not just for the little guys.Comment
