    Just A Pre-warning To The Users!

    Hey Folks,

    Just wanted to let you know that the FORUMS will be temporarily turned OFF for a short time TONIGHT to perform needed database backup procedures! Due to the increased # of SpamBots being and using the site as GUESTS, it's too busy to allow us to do this WHILE ONLINE!

    It should only take 10-15 minutes at most, will happen around 12 midnight CDT! Thanks for understanding and your patience!

    Just another FYI for you all!

    As some may have caught my posts, "WE" are currently working on an upgrade for the site, a newer more secure version of the VB Forum program and such, and we are doing a major facelift to the site as well! This is all happening behind the scenes at the moment, but we hope to bring it to fruition in a month or so!?

    In the meantime, the temp mock up of the site is on a server/service that JW Sanders uses, and SO... if those of you that have birthdays this month or next get an email from a site with "Elbarfo" as part of it's domain, that's from the mockup site, don't be alarmed!

    Thanks for your attention. Stay tuned for coming attractions on Chanel 11!

          LOL, nah. I have several domains. That one's just a test bed I use to build stuff in. I was originally going to use it as a flash cartoon site, but the advertising market died in 2001 and my motivation died with it. Now I just use the space to play on. Having 300GB of webspace is really handy!

          I think everyone will be pleased with the new site. There will be lots of new features (and the capability to add many more), and it will be able to grow well into the future. The artwork (thanks to Wildkat) is top-notch, too.

          I can't wait to finally have it all finished! Been working on it for several months now. Within the next few weeks, it should be ready for a full user (or giver, as the case may be ) test.

          As TC said, stay tuned!
