Hey Patrick, I like Eye Candy too, but this isn't EASY RIDER Magazine....chillin's see this site as well!

I left the active LINK, so folks can see the photo, but it was a bit much to have just POP UP on the screen. And boy did it POP! Now if only we could get those butterflies to FLY! T.C.

Well, here's a new update...rented an electra glide at the outer banks of N.C. for 2 days... racked up 350 miles on this one. The plus? wife really liked the couch on the back. Power with a 96 CI 6 speed? Terrible! Handling? Please! I really missed the 11 for those 2 days

On the weekend I saw this harley stopped at the lights
in between cars, ive pulled in the nxt lane also besides
other cars, as the lights changed he began to rev the crap out of it, so it was on, left him behind me for the first 2 gears then i
backed off, as i backed off hes overtaken and cut in front of me,
we were still travelling at a bit of speed, as he cut in front of me
the road twisted to the left, the look of sheer terror on his face
thru his rear view mirror was priceless, he couldnt turn the bike
in enuff and looked as tho he was going to cross the wrong side
of the road into oncoming traffic,
its got me beat how they steer those things with there feet so
            far forward.

The only Harley I've ever ridden was a V-Rod and I hated it. I owned a 2003 Honda VTX 1300 at the time and there was just no comparison. The V-Rod was very uncomfortable, unstable on the freeway, the riding position sucked and I REALLY didn't like the turn signals on both side.

I'm looking forward to the day my freshly acquired XS1100 is running right and I can experience the thrills you all speak of.

For the record - if I ever buy an American made motorcycle, you can bet that it won't be a Harley. I'd buy a Victory. They are far more beautiful in form and design, and they don't have all of that Harley BS attached to them.

Yadada, I ride my XS almost every day. I put on about 20,000 miles per year, and do oil changes, tires, and spark plugs, for the most part. In the three plus years I've owned this bike, I've put on over 60,000 miles. It had 36,00 on the odo when I got it, and I don't think the barrels have aver been off. I need to put a clutch in it before my ride to Tahoe, but it's the same one that was in the bike when I got it.
Let me know when you have 90,000 on your HD, and if the engine is still original....

I've been riding for (let me see,) nigh on t' 47 years. Started with a '59 Harley "Super 10," (an updated 165,) a second year model Harley Sprint, a '58 Norton 600c.c. "Dominator" punched out to 650c.c., a Simplex (an overgrown minibike with a 200c.c. Villers engine,) a Montgomery Wards Benelli 50c.c. that I bought for racing, a Suzuki X6, (250c.c. ass kickin' 2 stroke,) a Honda Csomethingorother 350c.c.on/off road 4stoke thumper, and a Kawasaki 440 LTD cruiser.
Next to the Suzuki X6, my XS11 Special is my all time favorite bike. It never fails to give me a sh!t eating grin when I wind it out from 35 to 70 MPH in the twinkling of an eye on a freeway entrance ramp, or when I’m cruising along the freeway effortlessly at 80 MPH.
I have heard that the size of a biker’s penus is inversely proportional to the size of his bikes rear tire and the volume of his bikes exhaust! Wouldn't know personally, of course, but I've heard it is so from my wife. I mean my lover. I mean… oh, never mind.

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
                  I've been riding since 1959.
