  • Here you go Prom...

This is for you prometheus. Hope that you find lots of good cannon fodder.

Above you will find pics of the new pad. Pics of the new garage that I have been promising to you all. The XS is up in front of my honda for now until I get to workin' on her again. The other pics are of my backyard and pool. There are also a few pics on the paint scheme that we are using in the master bedroom. Just kidding. It is actually my 2 year old sons room. He loves it so far.

So go ahead prometheus, tell me what you think. But remember on the garage I have only been here a couple of weeks now so be nice!

"Come on now, Travis... Who's house is this really?"

Looks like a nice neighborhood... I'm surprised they let you in.

Obviously, they pay medics too much in Indiana if they can afford to live in such splendor.
I liked you much better when you were a commoner like the rest of us.
The only reason you'll be escaping my wrath concerning your garage, is because you haven't had time yet to fill it properly.
My two car garage is stuff floor to ceiling. This weekend I tried to clean my two car shed so I could transfer some stuff from one place to the other. In the shed, I "discovered" another riding lawnmower that I had forgotten that I had.
It's not really storage... unless it's so stuffed that you've forgotten what's in there. These are words to live by.

As for your son's room, (and yes, I know, you've just repainted it), I would be remiss in my duties if I didn't remind you about the electrical outlet covers.

        My Goodness Travis,

What a big red DECK you have!

Well, that pathetic little 60 watt bare bulb in the garage will have to go....with your advancing age, you'll need all the light you can get while doing your repairs!

And I see you take the minimalist approach to your golf game!
1 driver/fairway wood; 1 iron, 1 pitching/sand wedge, and 1 putter! Or at your age is it just too hard to keep track of all of those other numbered clubs?!

Okay, that was my pathetic Prom Impersonization!

He is not sleeping or playing in there yet. He is still in the spare room while we paint his. Got a few more cement mixers and front-end loaders to paint on!!! We had to move significantly farther from Louisville to be able to afford this kinda of land. almost 3/4 acre. Just remember that the bank owns it now, not me. It will be about 25 years or so on 2 nurses salaries before we can truly call it ours.

Those are my grandads old clubs. mine are in the big green airline bag on the wall. I thought that it would be cool to have his old clubs so I snagged them when I picked up the XS at the house.

"Hey T.C., that was pretty good!"

I too am planning on building a deck this summer, and like most men, (and some women) am impressed by Travis' size. Was considering composite, but I'm too much of a tight-a$$, though I haven't ruled it out yet.

Nate, I think that one of those would not do well in the chlorine. I also think that wifey would banish me from the house!! Not sure how much green in my yard. Need some rain!!! Wish I could get another nurse to chip in too. Young, blonde, willing to try new things, big ...... Oops got caught daydreaming. I think that was the movie on skinemax last night!!!!

Prom, how much does the composite decking cost in comparison to normal pressure treated? Double the cost???
