For those with K&N air filters, how often do you clean and re-oil under normal useage?

When they look dirty. I have K&N filters in all my vehicles. On my cars and diesel pickup my K&Ns usually are good for about 50,000 miles between cleaning, but the air around here isn't particularly dusty except in the heat of the summer. The K&N in my Honda 750 has been in there for about three years and about 12,000 miles. It still doesn't need cleaning.

I clean and re oil mine more often than I should. Usually when I change the oil I go over the whole bike and that includes the air filter. I too have K&Ns on all of my vehicles except the boat(no air iflter) and because of that I have several recharge kits.
