      Hey Randy,

His profile shows he just turned 50, has 21 years experience! FYI!

Hey YamahaMan, Welcome. We have several professional bike mechanics onboard already, the more the merrier.

But I would like to say that "WE" prefer for folks to post requests for help in the FORUM, so that the "collective" can both provide assistance, as well as LEARN from what is posted, shared, etc.!

PM requests for "in person" assistance when someone lives near a needy member is fine.

General tech requests are best served publicly, both in the variety of info as well as usually a timely response as well!

How nature points out the folly of men!

            Too many typos

Speed errors and I don't want to be the one calling the kettle black. Professional typist I am not.... That is funny though.

Actually after my only daughter turned 18, I've mostly ignored the witch... ;o)

My only real problem with my bikes is affording the parts and insurance I need. I've got too many irons in the fire right now.

So, yamahaman, now let's take this thread back to its origin for a minute. It is always nice to have another real mechanic on the site to add to the incredible talent pool we've already got.

We've got a lot of hackers and shadetree mechanics here like myself, a lot of us who have more or less blundered or plundered our way through a lot of problems over the years. Sometimes it takes a pro to keep us on the straight and narrow.

                            Welcome aboard!

(not saying that mine's sharp... just that we have the room)
