    Hello there,
I unsuccessfully tried to post a greeting when I joined the forum, so if it should pop up, I apologize.
I'm the 2nd proud owner of my '79 XS 1100 eleven-special. This baby is gonna need alot of polishing and TLC, SO I thought I'd come to the experts! The bike has been parked, covered under a carport for roughly 13 yrs. Everything is either rusted, corroded, stuck and/or dryrotted for example: the fork seals blew when we ratcheted her down on my trailer!
It has only 7305 miles, a few hours of storytelling went by when I picked it up and I got EVERYTHING with it. I plan to sell the hard saddlebags, the brackets and the fairing to put the money into the restoration. It also has a custom seat I like rather than the stock one. I've been riding for roughly 10 yrs. and I hope to swap tech info with you all. Pictures coming soon!

    Thanks,
    Vince

I'm located in Clay Hill....In between Middleburg and Maxville. I'll take pictures of the Saddlebags and fairing. All of the accessories have been stored in a tool shed, so they're in good shape. there is some minor road rash on edge of the right side of the fairing trim.
