A friend of mine suffered a heart attack last night around 12:30am. They had him in local hospital till morning, then rushed him into Edmonton, to a specialist hospital , a 3hr trip.

While he was laying in hospital, he told his wife to phone me, this morning, to tell me I could use his Shadow 1100 to go to the Ride for Sight rally this weekend, as both my Yamahas are sick!

True bikers never think of anything else...

It must be the drugs. I mean what if he recovers and discovers you took him up on his offer? He might have another attack

And what happens if you raise more money than he planned on raising himself?

Lol, he's up and about. However, I got the Virago fixed, so he's off the hook. However, the girl that rides behind him will have to ride on the Virago, rather than a Shadow this year.

I always raise more money than he does, so not an issue. I've been going to this rally for about 23 years, this would have been his 3rd.

As for his wife, you'll never get her on a bike. The girl that rides with him is the Fiance of another freind, who will be going for his 2nd time, but hasn't got his bike licence yet. He borrowed a Kawi 1500 last year, but bought a CB900C about amonth ago.
