  • "Another milestone for Mr. Humble."

    Gentlemen... congratulations are in order.

    T.C. hit his 5000th post.

That's an awful lot of effort... sharing his time so that others can repair and ride.

Tribute must be paid to this great man.

As he has a quiet, unassuming nature... to not overwhelm him with your thanks and praise, all donations of beer should be sent to my address and I will then forward them to him.

Thanks for all the help over the years, T.C.

      Congratulations!

and to think that we can't really give you a hard time about fluffing your way to the top... well... we could... but that's subject for another post...

Thank you for your continued contribution to this place!

and by the way prometheus, I think that was such a kind offer to take in the tributes of bottled beverages... Of course, the shipping will cost less if you empty the bottles for him and will make the boxes lighter for him to carry... but I think you already knew that...
You are SO incredibly thoughtful and considerate...

maybe if we duck tape his fingers to his toes

I think I'm gonna be sick!

                Hey ALL,

It's a good thing I'm so tall, it's getting pretty deep in there!

Yeah, Gary's just glad that HE doesn't have to mess with the site anymore!

As I've stated repeatedly I'm no real GURU, just a shadetree survivalist and XS11 enthusiast....that can touch type!
I've gleaned so much info from the REAL GURU's here over the past 5 years....Gary(66), Prom, Geezer, John, Ken Talbot, DennyZ, Jerry, Skids, DiverRay, MRO, and the list goes on and on, apologies if you were not mentioned!

I'm mostly a housekeeper around here, putting posts in their proper place, trying to create tech tips, providing useful as well as fun item(fuseblock/patches), and giving what I hope is useful information. IF I don't know something, I defer to the pros, and try to steer the person in need in the right direction.

And I'm definitely not above correction, I make mistakes, and thankfully there are many knowledgeable folks to set me straight when I do, with no malice intended, just the usual public flogging that is appropriate for such heinious acts!

So...I thankyou(humbly) all for these kind words, and hope and plan on being around for the next 5k posts! Good thing I don't have arthritis in my fingers.....YET! Your humble servant!
