I have had a pretty good track record through ebay but I did have a scam occur with a 100.00 set of carbs. The jerk took my money and I didn't hear from him for two months. I finallly threatend him with the fact that because the transaction took place through the mail, I mailed a money order, it was in fact a federal crime of mail fraud.
Two week later I received a set of carbs off of a junk bike, looked like they were dry for several years. That was okay because I only needed a body with posts, due to PO having cracked and epoxied a post back on.
Bottom line, avoid sellers with little or no feedback and rely upon their track record. NOS should be exactly that. anything eles is a scam or ripoff!!
