After lotsa' wrenchin', TONS of help from many of you on this site, as of about noon today, I finally have three outa' three XSs that run. What a concept, eh? Well .... time to start tearin' 'em down again . In reality, only the black F is streetable and licensed ..but the others will be there soon enough.







And even though all of the bikes are a long way from being done; at least they're running ....

What did you find wrong with the one with no spark?

John ... that one was a broken or nearly broken pick up coil wire .... both Dick and I and some others missed first time through. It failed bad when I was rechecking .... dumb me though .... a couple of days earlier, I inadvertently tested the wrong pairs .... two that were on the big TCI plug instead of on the four prong plug ... got it right eventually , fixed the break and it fired and ran. Sucked gas into the vac advance though ... so there's carb issues probably yet but those will also pass ... probably a crankcase full of gas too......
