I own a '80 SG 1100,original owner.I did the Rider Mag mods,equalizer air tube for the front forks,progressive springs front and rear,case guards with Yamaha foot pegs,Yamaha luggage rack with turn signal relocation kit.I put the Windjammer Fairing on,lowers in the cooler months with the taller windshield with the air vents............so over all a nice bike in my mind.Got 70,000 plus miles on it...took a nice ride to day,I was the leader of our small group.Had several coments of how well the bike looked and performed......one mentioned she would buy it just because....................there is nothing wrong with it!!!!It just keeps on a running!!!Yupppers I am slowly converting those mis guided individuals to the XS 1100 world:-)
