i need some xspertease, i dont think i made a mistake, i scored some almost new 412 progressive shocks at the right 12.5 in length,
they were off a harley, i did notice on their website that metirc and domestic had differnent part numbers but they generallly fit a wide range of bikes in those catagories.
my o d on the mounting studs are 14mm, the supplied bushings are 1/2 inch i d, and 5/8 o d , does anyone know if i just build up the cicumfrance of the mounting studs with some tape, to take up the slop if this is mickey mouse, any other suggestions?
i think the supplied bushings are made out of steel and are thin walled may not have enough material to drill out to 14mm from 1/2 inch,
progressive is not helping, they say ther ruber businh is differnet.
or can i just leave the bushings out and used the sloppy 5/8 the way it is?
okay and thanks in advance guys.
