    Quite true, Planedick.
As it's also true that by listening/lurking, people have learned enough about me that they'd rather not meet face to face.

Hhmm.. suppose everyone, in real life, were just as they present themselves here?
Does T.C., in his daily working rituals, speak only in puns?
Does MRO omit whole words when he speaks, or is it just his lack-luster typing skills?
What about the above quoted phrase from Mason? Spelling error... or is something else wrong up stairs?
What about me? In real life, am I really cruel, bitter and heartless? (ok, bad example)
nice catch, you get an a for paying attention, any time i can slip it in, i will. this is not anything that deep and means nothing, i do like to use genitelia to stir things up a bit tho

oh and to keep with the thread, i'm serously considering to abandoning this site at 999 so i can never be accused of fluffing my way to the top, now that would be a true guru, to have capture everything about the bike and never need you guys again...i guess tru gurus never need this banter

As long as you've finally started to think, that's all we can ever hope for.

I don't know Ron, I've been quite entertained by this thread.

Hmmm, penistrate... (How can I use that in a sentance tomorrow at work and to whom?)

                Oh yeah, guru's
Didn't they make 650 Mike a guru? All he ever talked about was music and what a great guitar player he was.
I don't think it really matters as long we're all having fun.

Most people just show up here to get there bikes fixed for free, or to complain about whatever. But the people that stick around and enjoy each others company, wit and wisdom are the ones that are called friends.
The Guru status really is meaningless, I think I would rather be called XS Friend.

Did you get a TI series, like 4200, etc or did you get a Geforce 4 MX? *Extremely* huge difference.

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
                    I've been riding since 1959.

Why... it never stopped me!?!? lol.. Just ride in the middle of the pack and let them all do the signalling! Just hand signals are legal here, so I haven't been in a hurry to get them fixed.... just watch for my finger! lol.

well the turn signals arent really the big worry. its the intermittent function of the frickin brake light. I still need to hook up my MM to check conductivity on that switch to see if its my week link or if its the fuse block and the rats nest behind the headlight that got PO'd if you know what i mean. Electrical tape everywhere.
