That first one is down to the bare bones isn't it? Both are nice looking machines. Gotta love the tire on the turbo.

I emailed this guy for bigger pics and he sent me these below. Turns out we met in Horsham in the UK last year (see first pic). His name is Baloo.

The turbocharged bike has a rare turbokit from RC Engineering, only few made, I remember these.
As you know RC Engineering was famous for their triple Honda 12 cylinder dragracer and the Honda V8 sorcerer. They also did an effort with some turbokits, mostly for the Honda fours.

The racer has not yet been finished, due to lack of time and he wants to race it in the Classic Bol d’Or. The front fork will be swapped with one from a RC30.

here some pics of another chaindrive conversion he did:

Those are some really nice bikes. Do you think you could ask him what swingarm he uswed for the conversions?
I wish Yamaha had made a version of these with chains, life would be so much easier than

          WOW!!!!!!

I can't believe it....I did a lot of researching and found that the entire zx11 Swingarm would bolt up to the xs11.....Looks like someone on the other side of the globe beat me to it.....this is the first time I have seen these pics.....Is it possible to get a write up on what that guy did? in English of course....Chop

this set-up would work on your rear, BUT you could use the monoshock attachment, much sweeter...JAT

You saying I could not use the monoshock, or I could. A zx-11 huh
what years of that bike will the swingarm work on ours?
I want to see if I can find an aftermarket company that makes an extended/fat tail version.

                gpz1100

Same idea here....looks like a 83-84 gpz1100 S/A which obviously works as well!....plentiful and most importantly...CHEAP from the BAY....chop....P.S. you CAN use the monoshock...You have already done all the hard work to your frame.....This is the swingarm to get in my opinion.....chop...

                  length

the newer s/a that i posted a pic in the other thread is 5 inch stretch from the xs11....22" IIRC.....you could go up to 200 if you wanted, but 180 is good enough and tires are cheaper in 180

                      yes

that's the one he's using (gpz1100)...I don't know the stretch length from that one though....the one with 22" is the (zx11) pg.11 of the chain drive thread

Thinking about it I just realized if i were to get this swing arm I would have to really start all over
my axle probably would not work with it, If I change the axle, then I gotta change bearings, and spacers.
I am almost done with this one so maybe this winter. Hopefully I can find another cheap XS to do it to.
Or a KZ1000 (already got a chain drive)
But those bikes above are BAD azzzz

                          woah

then it would all depend on front sprocket from that bike....I had researched this S/A (ZX11) for the xs11 before I decided to be really sick and do the single sided Triumph S/A.... When I offer these chain drive housings, I will suggest this swingarm for ease of installation....because shock tabs can be added easily as the pics show....chop

                            Rear Tire size

Hey Math, do you know what rear tire size is on the Black Bike? Also what is the swingarm off of exactly. I may be wrong in saying GPZ, could possibly be off a Triumph Trophy? Any pics of your chain project yet?
