Be careful what and where you buy !!!!!

I'm not sure what and or where you buy your parts and I don't know if things are different in the USA. I was out to my Yamaha dealer the other day and discovered that they have the exact set up as Bike Bandit and can therefore get all the same parts without the shipping costs. I also noticed that there are many parts being sold on e-Bay that are selling for UGLY prices when the parts are still available from other sources at a fraction of the e-Bay selling prices. It depends on the part in question but it would be wise to check availability and regular selling pricing before biding. An example is badge screws that sell on e-bay for over 5 and more dollars on a regular basis. These are still available and retail for 23 cents each.
So .. Like the thread is called "be careful what and where you buy your stuff .. You might get hosed buying a hose

No doubt, check around and not just for bike parts either. It can be like that on anything nearly. Heres a funny story. Theres a older man who sets up shop on a corner on a major highway near us. He stands out there and waves to everyone and is super friendly. He sells fresh fruit and stuff like that out of the back of his pickup. You get the impression that he either grows all this stuff hisself and or gets it through a wholesale grower. Come to find out he buys it at Walmart and just marks it up.

I get most of my stuff at bike bandit. Every time I go to the dealer it ends up being more expensive and I have to wait longer. They have a normal price that is usually cheaper but the price you must pay is higher probably because it is backorderd
