  • Anybody seen/heard...

Anybody know anything that may have happened to MRO? I haven't seen him listed as browsing here or seen any post from him since before the Yosemite trip. Does anyone know if he made it back OK? Besides my concern for his well being, I ordered a oil cooler from him and he seems to have dissapeared?????????

I have had a couple dealings with him and can say he is good on his word.

          Hi Jack, how are you?

          Hey John,

Chill!! He(Midnight1980) provided a link to the user id which when clicked on shows that MRO was on last on 4-13-07, just 1 week ago. He was just suggesting that possibly he got busy, maybe he got married, or is just on vacation. He is self employed, may be just working hard!?

Yeah Dick, MRO is good people, don't worry! Although would be nice to know that he IS just busy and not hurt or something?

I exchanged a couple of PM's with MRO after the trip. I was looking ffor the compression spring between the FD spline and the drive shaft.

Now that I've ordered, received and received the rping and assembled the rear drive, I found my old spring.... It was in an area I had forgotten about since I didn't know where that spring came from to begin with.

                Oh well...

When I went to the PO for the money order, I went brain dead and sent the wrong amount, which I corrected as soon as I learned of my error. All was before the trip, so I can only assume he is pi**ed at me because of that and won't answer my PM or phone calls.

MRO if you happen to see this and you don't want to sell me the oil cooler, just send my money back.

                  why would he be pi**ed?
he sounds like a straight shooter and will not go bad on any deal,
i think something is more serious like a accident or something. i hope ever thing is all right with him.

Anybody know anything that may have happened to MRO?

Have had to take care of some family business lately and have not been home.

Did make it to my shop today and sent out an oil cooler and a center stand. (today)

If I've forgotten anybody else please send me a PM and will take care of it this weekend.

                      "Well look... there he is."

Great that you showed up, MRO.
I was just gonna sit down and see if I could think up anything nice to say about you.
Glad that I don't have to now.
It's late, and that would have taken a lot out of me.

                          Oil cooler - centerstand

Well, I got the center stand and was supposed to get the oil cooler. Hello, anybody who got my oil cooler, I would trade you a center stand for it. I was holding off on a needed oil change until I get the oil cooler, but I guess I will have to wait for the next oil change. DARN

                            left of(with) center(stand)

Hey, Dick .... I'll take that center stand, and save shipping back to MRO, if you want .... ditto what everyone has said, Mike is good people.

BTW, heard my motor run today. Spritzed some carb cleaner in the carb throats and it fired and ran a few revs .... no weird noises ... seems like it's gonna' be fine .... so far. Quite a relief too, since the PO did the bottom end and not me ... maybe possibly tomorrow I'll ride it. Got new fuel line and drilled out a broken off tank mounting bolt today. Getting close.
