We have collector and special plates here in WI, but they always have some sort of restriction on them. I don't own a car, and use my bike all year as my main transportation. Restrictions bad.

Registration is only 23 every 2 years away.
I've been in more than one Hemisphere, and I wrote a book to help you do it too (or just prepare better for that week long road trip). Going Small, not just for the little guys.

          antique

Arkansas has antique car plates, but doesn't have antique motorcycle plates...they do however have handicap motorcycle plates...someone please explain.

Here in CA CA land, $55.00 this year on the 80G

            On my 91 GMC 3500 it's over $240.00
            Weight fee higher than registration

Only thing every other year is the smog check

Can cost thousands if you got an expensive car.
State had a crack down on guys saying that there mopar or other expensive collectable was only worth a few thousand instead of the 20 to 100 grand many are worth.

For some unknown reason trailer registration changed few years ago and now have "trailer plates" that don't use stickers and are good for 5 years. Can only think there must be a politician in Sac that has a trailer and didn't want to pay ever year.

Yea I saw that but theres a a $15.00 additional charge on top of the normal $50.00 registration fee yearly. Ive already got my story ready if I get stopped. " yes officer Iam on my way to a vintage bike meet " They have no way of knowing how far you ride every year unless you tell them. You also arent required to get the yearly state inspection either another savings. Rules were made to be broken.

Here in Ontario We can get year of Manufacturer plates if the bike is in factory configuration. There is however no restrictions on use and or savings. No pricing is listed on the DOT site but personalized plates are over 200 dollars. BARF

Got em here in VA and I have em on my XS.
Life time registration , cost me around 54.00 for registration , plates, tile change. Not supposed to use a daily rider, but how are the cops gonna Know. Can only take it 250 miles from home on any ride unless going to some type of event.
I love the tag too cause they are flat black with white letters and no stickers.
