  • Cold up here

Out of Texas, back to cold country.
Have not hit a lick on the bike since I drove it off the truck.
Six inches of snow today! What month is it again?

I scored a job at Harley Davidson, hence the move.
I can't wait to see how the XS goes over in the company parking lot.

Anyway, just wanted to give a shout, been off the air for a while.

    Cheers

Harley in Milwaukee? Hope you enjoy my hometown.

You are finding out why I now live in Texas....

Congratulations on landing a new job Dan. Maybe you could make a few extra bucks on the side racing against some of the slugs in the parking lot. Good to see ya back on, and we'll miss you down here. Good luck up there.

            Handle

What does your handle mean? When I pronounce it phonetically, it sounds Native American. Just curious 'cause I'm Mohawk.

                Tdog,
Nothing quite so cool as that.
It's Gaelic for O'Shea, which is how you would pronounce it(oh-shay).

My responce when people ask why I do not like/ride HD's.

"Harley Davidson does not offer the performance envelope I require of motorcycling"

Congrats on the new job!!! I am sure your rig will be unique in that parking lot!

Unless your usta snow and cold, your first winter is gonna be interesting. I vowed never to live somewhere where I would even consider owning a snowblower.

Hey, someone who lives near me!!

Welcome to the neighborhood. I am not a Harley fan, but jobs there are pretty good from what I hear.

When the weather turns, make sure you make Two Wheel Tuesdays, 124th street, south of Capitol. I will be there most weeks.

Actually, I go there sometimes now, but no one is there.
I've been in more than one Hemisphere, and I wrote a book to help you do it too (or just prepare better for that week long road trip). Going Small, not just for the little guys.

I had several childhood friends who scored jobs at HD when we were all young. They are very good jobs. Course, most of my friends are retired now. By the age of 50. Good gig, I hope you like it there.

                        You will NOT like winter.
