Haven't we all? I got two owies on my left hand a couple of days ago while working on Foster Child. They say oil and water don't mix, but oil and blood do...too often. I have sacrificed many hunks of flesh to the XS gods.

I can't count how many times I ground a chunk out of my hand or arm when taking all the rust off my bike. I had rash everywhere before I ever rode it!

As with all things that you love, they come with pain.

I think the question should be "is there anybody who had not suffered pain?"

                  Rule of Thumb...

When working on Cars, Bikes, or Women...

Always expect Blood, Sweat, and Tears!

Why do you think a car or a bike is called "she"!

The Battle Cruiser demanded a Chipped tooth earlier in the week. I was jmmying gear cluster in and the third shift fork fell out and hit me square in the two front teeth. That's when I went back and read the Re-assembly secrets more carefully and picked up the Shift fork shaft as retainer trick. Doc says the tooth is okay, just a little chip... ...Guess using Crest and drinking milk all those years helped.

For me, working on cars is nothing short of Blood Sweat and Tears anytime. The motorcycle is a bit different. Sure, Ive cut and gouged myself many many times, but they don't seem to hurt as bad.
