I stopped by a shop in Longmont, CO last week. They seem to be big on ebay, and I'm not sure the prices are that good.
Shop name is Bolder Bike Works, and they go by partsguyz on ebay.
PM me if you want any more info. They did have a couple of XS1100s, plus a BUNCH of older Yamahas.

I got a set of 4 pistons from em last year.
Were supossed to be for a 78.
Turned out they were 3H5's (for 80+ years)

They did refund the money, just took em three weeks after items returned.

Buying used stuff???
should shop around first,...or.....

Headlight housing

Bought this headlight housing on ebay about 1yr. ago took it out looked at it then set it aside till last week, it looks like its for a 78 XS1100 and it is a Yamaha part but as it turns out for an 81 something or other so I have to research the part # and put it up for resale......

another story from ebay; bought a set of coils 3 yrs ago or longer from this Guy, when they showed up at the post office I opened the box and this is the honest truth, there was'nt an ounce of packing paper, bubble rap, nothing with them, they were just put in the box and left to bang around half way cross the country....its a wonder one of them did work!! No good feedback for that Guy.....what are some people thinking?
