Handlebars from Ebay and fairing from JCWhitney. Seat cover from JCW too but there are nicer ones out there. The MNS seatcover is slichtly different than other specials (double row stitching and steeper transition from driver to passenger sections).

I still have the original exhaust (not for sale, sorry) but I put on a 4 into 1 (to preserve the OEM exhaust). The bike looks naked on the left side with no muffler so I now have two SuperTrapp mufflers and will make a "Y" pipe from the collector to the mufflers. 4 into 1 into 2. The whole thing will be ceramic coated in gloss black (jet-hot.com). Onlt thing left for the exhaust is the Y pipe and endcaps (and coated).

If you cant tell from the photo how I feel about the subject , you need not be riding a motorcycle at all.

I saw on your Fairing that the windscreen was black instead of clear. Is that an option from JCwhitney or did you change it? The exhaust sounds like a cool idea. Let me know how that set up 4 to 1 into 2 works out if theres any changes on top or bottom end when you get it done.

sounds like a plan....we can definately do that....I got to get my bike running first.....I got to pull the carbs off and clean them out because the guy that had it before me let it sit for 3 years in his garage.....and I a little starter problem....after that rebuild both brake master cylinders....put on the new 160mph speedo....get some tags....and we are off.

I don't know if this has already been said, but as much as I love modding my XS, I would kinda hate to see you do it to a Midnight. They are kinda rare. Maybe you and the many midnight fanatics here on the site could work something out to swap for a special or standard...? I don't know, just hang on to any midnight parts you pull off and enjoy the XS in all its awesomness

Thats kinda the response I was looking for....at first I wanted to do alot to the bike cuz I wasnt sure if it was rare....It really is a cool looking bike stock....thats the whole reason I bought it....not knowing that is a limited bike....I guess I kinda got lucky in a way....plus for how much I paid for it....but with that being said I still want to change some things on the bike that I can undo later if needed....and I will definately keep all the stock parts.

If the bike is in true tip top stock condition I would leave it stock. If not ... let loose and do your own thing with it.
