to Mike and Jerry for your replies... guess I'm getting testy in my old age, but computers and i have never been the best of buddies..
Any way things seem to be working, I was automatically signed in this time, I checked the User cp and cookies are enable there, as you suggested, Mike. Two lunches and a 6 pac it looks like!!!
so now I can attempt to get better acquainted with this forum thing....
