As requested be desert1, I'm starting a thread about your garages, Ya know,,, The place SWMBO sends you when she doesn't want you around,,, The XS's house, and so on. I said I would start this by posting a few pics. Here goes.

This small shop is 15'6"X22' Insulated, wall mounted A/C, Space heater with box fan kepps it around 70 degree's @10degree's outside. Just gotta get the grill fixed and the frig put in. Good thing I own 2 lots. If SWMBO ever gets mad enough I can hang a 1/2 sign over the door.
I know, the clock is wrong on the camera,,, AND,,, I don't care..
I have to apologize to diverray for not being more hospitable when he stopped by last year to change his oil. I just moved into the house a couple of weeks prior. Maybe this will help

Hey, don't sell yourself short! You are a great host, and that is a picture of the battery fill, not the oil change. The bike is still over charging, so I'll have to quit riding it one of these days and replace the wire harness.
I'll try and get one or two pictures of my carport posted. I usually don't work in the winter because it's so cold, and wet. the rain runs downhill, through the carport!

Nubee's bike used to belong to a member called btdtdan. Dan sold it, and his other two xs's, as well as most of his other toys and moved to Mexico. He was flat fed up with all the BS in the US. I got a message from him a while ago and he loves it down there. When I first met Dan, he was living in a neighboring town, Richland Hills, Tx. I saw his location when he has first joined up here, so I got in touch with him, and we arranged to meet at a Waffle House, for coffee, and BS. The bike was very nice, with very low miles. From what I have seen of Nubees' pics, he has kept it in VGC also. I haven't had to chance to meet Nubee yet, but I'm looking forward to the day when we do meet.

          Too clean and organized...

You don't have near enough junk in your garage. Not enough spare parts laying around in the way. I am always suspicious of a mechanic with an organized work area. LOL
You can't stay young forever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life...

There's nothing like a place to call home for your bike ... and yourself when needed. Beats the dog house hands down :-)

Wondered when you'd chime in there PROM!

Yeah, Steve Czekus must be one sick puppy with that immaculate bedroom he calls a garage!!

I've been working on mine, getting the other cabinets moved around and against the wall, putting many of the other spare bike parts in the new SHED, I'll get some pix of it tomorrow, and show the Before and After shots!

TC, I too have been anxiously awaiting Prometheus' response to this thread. We have shown our house 3 times in the past 2 days. I am oh so much closer to getting a garage of my own. All I can do now is just look at other peoples garages and drool.

                    Parrothead.
If I would post pics of my garage, yes, you'd drool. And then get that drooling/ tightened jaw/watery feeling in your mouth... the precurser of a good vomiting.
I'm waiting for more member's pics. Czekus' garage is too clean for me to comment on. And while the pic of Ray's radioactive pants was note-worthy, not too garage related.
Unfortunetly, Nubee's photo's link my antiquated computer cannot decipher, so I can't mock him at this time.
T.C.'s garage, like his shed I can imagine.... everything is "Dress right... dress". A place for everything, and everything in it's place. What a closed, buttoned-down, organized mind he has.
Like Czekus, with his little plastic trays screwed into the wall.
Is that a hole in the front wall by the garage door?
I have something similar... riding lawnmower hit a rock, sailed it by my brother's head, through the outer wall, insulation, drywall, and then bounced around downstairs.
Come on, people... I'll be nice. Let's share, shall we? (snicker)

Taken while the workbench was being constructed. Prom, before you pounce, that's not diapers, it's aDodge Neon Cyl Head. Anyone need it? It's only got 6 out of 16 valves bent!

Of course I had an unfair advantage, the Jan '06 fire forced renovations BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

I seal and insulate the door of my attached garage in the winter time because it is heated space. When empty it is about 11 feet X 20 feet and still isn't enough room. Space is limited so I have to be very neat and tidy to function in there in the winter time. Here's a pic of 1 side where my bench and overhead storage is. I have close to a complete XS1100SF in the labeled boxes along with some tools.
