  • Well I am back

I missed you guys. For financial reasons, I have had to put the hydro-clutch on the back burner. The only thing I have left to do is have the hole drilled/machined in the mount plate that is replacing the old clutch adjustment plate. At 1.83", it might be a little large of a hole to be drilled. I don't know what it will cost, but SWMBO will kill if I spend any money on the bike right now.

I can't stand lurking around the site anymore. So, I will have to pathetically limp my way into guruhood without any awesome mod entries. It's good to be back, and don't worry Prom, I'll be your Geologist if you need one...

    Low-cost hole

    Hi 81xs,
If you have a drill press (or a friend who has one) try this:-
A hole-saw. The cutters come in 1/8" steps up to at least 3". Slow speed & lotsa cutting fluid.

ThanXS, fred. I have access to really sweet drill presses, but they are a little far away. I will buy myself a hole saw bit for the occasion.
