  • Classic Nugent!

I've always liked Ted and his music. But I think I have never loved him as much as now!

    ROCK ON TED!

    WHAT DO DEER THINK...

Ted Nugent, Rock star and avid Bowhunter was being interviewed by a French journalist and the discussion came around to deer hunting. The journalist asked, "What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, "Are you my friend?" or is it "Are you the one who killed my brother?'"

Nugent replied, "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, "What am I going
to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French."

        SG-Olli,
I'm NOT trying to be an "Ugly American", but I do work with someone in France who will get a kick out of this, if he hasn't already heard or read the article it was pulled from. I will be in France for work in about six weeks, or less. This is something Christophe will like, as he like older US movies and Rock and Roll.
We both try to pick apart the classic French and American "barbs", and have fun doing it.

Ask Ted how he got out of going of Vietnam.

He gets a bit touchy about it.

            LMAO, very good.

Being an avid hunter myself, I have nothing but respect for Nugent, he might be a bit off in his ways, but thats just what this world needs.

                Olli

One of my good friends is from Bordeaux. We rib each other frequently. I sent this to her and she was ROTFLHAO.

I've noticed people in the French countryside are very cool. It's the people in Paris that are so "aloof".

                All others:

I don't give a flip how Ted "got out of Nam." A lot of people "got out of Nam." Some I respect...some I don't.

However Ted irrefutably detests BIG GOVERNMENT. Ted is a strict constructionalist in his interpretation of the Constitution. This in and of itself erases a multiplicity of sins from his errant youthful past.

If only...IF ONLY...GOD IF ONLY more people in these United States thought the way Ted Nugent thought we would be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better off. But alas no...the same people are to busy trying to destroy the 2nd amendment with the 1st amendement. Kinda ironic...a dontcha think?

Ted on the other hand is simply protecting the 2nd amendment with the first.

Gotta love him for being so politically incorrect and calling them like he sees 'em. Isn't free speech wonderful?

                  And Mac...speaking of free speech.

Well isn't "Oh Canada" the last bastion of free speech? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What a joke.

If they disagree with a certian political perspective they simply BAN IT! (Fox News)

Ah yes..our wonderful open minded...free speech embracing neighbor to the north.

Been to France several times on business. Could not get out of Paris fast enough. Mulhouse and the Alsace however, was quite agreeable. Very friendly people there.
We managed to find the only Irish pub in town, that place was a hoot.
Chateaubriand was the site of perhaps one of the most memorable evenings I have had, eating and drinking wise. The owner of the foundry I was visiting took us out. We started about 8:30 with bubbly and snack food, and finished up about 1AM with cognac and Habanos.
The TGV is impressive. Going into a tunnel at 300kph will pop your ears!

I have to agree with telling it like it is. Water's wet, Sky is blue and it takes a big fish to do a whale. If saying stuff like it is, offends people, then those people need to get a life and find something worthwhile to occupy their little minds rather then try and change my life style because they live 6000 miles from me and know what's best for me. I, personolly do not like France and could care less if the place fell off the planet. That's my opinion.
                              Rock on Ted.
I could go on about Nam but I think that this is enough.
