This is kind of a spin off planedick's question:
What is the farthest you've ridden in the rain? I have not had the misfortune of being forced into the rain often. Last year I rode 150-200 miles from eastern Utah to Durango, CO.
Not very far in the rain really but certainly enough to make me realize riding in the rain (with a good rain suit) is no big deal. I actually kind of enjoyed it except when I would meet or pass a big 18 wheeler.
I used to dread rain. I usually would stop when it starting raining to see if it would pass and now I just keep on rolling unless it is so heavy I can't see.
