If I had the extra cash I would have bought that seat myself. In Canada there's just not many parts around for these old bikes or any bikes for that matter. It's weather and demographics at work so sometimes we have to bit the bullet to get what we want or need.
Here in Canada Were LUCY if we can use our bikes for 4 months a year without needing to bundle up for a ride. That being the case bikes just are not as popular. That combined with our total population means less bikes of any brand bough and even less parts available.
It's as BUMMER and I envy you guys who can buy used parts bikes for what I in some cases pay just for parts.

I got a NOS seat for my E 2 years ago off Ebay for $60.
Same story, new bike owner bought the touring seat and the stock seat was left on the dealer shelf for 25 years.
I would never have bid that much for the seat.Pat Kelly
