I am a wood floor contractor and I take care of a surpizing amount of work on my '79 special: supply runs, estimates, $ collecting, etc.
Never bothered keeping track of the miles logged although I should, cause I can (and do) count it as a tax deduction.
I ride every chance I get. I'd say 15 to 20K per year.
    Ride on!

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
    I've been riding since 1959.

I'd ride more, but I find that it cuts into my wrenching time.

I spent all day Monday trying to get a basket Virago running instead of riding my XS...how sick is that?

                Maximan,
Most of that was just patrolling the fences to keep riffraff like me away from SWMBO.

2-3000 depending on the type of year. Round here the riding season is pretty much may through september, sometimes more, sometimes less. Factor in the rainy month of may, and blasting heat in august, I dont see as much seat time as I wish I could, but that just means more time for modifications

                        Bwhahahahahahahahahahaha!

                        Now that IS funny!!!

But I didn't count the dyno runs! If I had it would have pushed the total near 100K!

                        Pathetic isn't it?

I figure I ride between 15-20,000 miles/year. I ride my bike almost every day. Thankfully, SoCal weather allows me to do that. I've found that I actually get a little depressed on days that I can't ride for one reason or another. I also catch myself smiling when I'm throwing my leg over the seat to begin a ride.
                          Hi...my name is Mike, and I'm a lane-splitter.
