Looks like this thread started alot of trips down memory lane, me included. Looks like we all had potent rides we wish we still had. Heres my list of go fasts that are long gone:
'67 Hemi GTX (sold 'cause I could not afford to feed it)
67 GTO, 400 auto (not 'xactly a ball of fire, sold it to buy...)
'70 340, 4sp Duster (real pocket rocket, sold it to buy....)
'70 Roadrunner, 440 auto. This one sucked most of my money away. Also one I kept the longest. Kinda unique since it had factory AC. Seems every paycheck went into some goody to make it faster or look better. I am sure I had VIP status at Jegs and Summit. Under duress from my first wife, I got rid of it. The replacement 74 big block Monaco cannot even be considered muscle by any means. Alas, a tear comes to my eyes as I think of these past rides. Should, coulda and woulda if I had a second chance. I still have my "75 Power Wagon I bought new, not exactly performance equipment but steady and reliable. '02Protege and '90 Cavalier fills the stable now. I have my trusty XS when its time to qwell the "need for speed".
