    That could be anything from swelled clutches, to completely rusted together paperweight that used to be a motor???

        Hydrolocked... means... cylinders can compress air on the compression stroke.. but if there's water in the cylinder instead... that can't be compressed. Normally.. remove the spark plugs.. crank it... and stand back because it WILL shoot out with force. But... sit a little while.. and hydrolocked becomes rust locked.

          hydrolocked with a gasoline or oil flooded engine isn't good either. What happened, It is not on craigslist any more?

            It got flagged down. I'm not sure why; it didn't look like spam.

            Something hinky must have been up with that posting. Last time we had serious flooding in NH was in May 2006. To flood the engine with water he must have tried to drive through a flooded road and it backed up through the pipes. Then the bike sat all summer, fall, and winter. We don't get sudden flash floods that you can't avoid like in the midwest.
