  • Sooo....what do I do with her?

    http://lifeisaroad.com/plbproject.html

-Clean up and put her on the road as somebody's starter bike?
    -Part her out?
-Do something slightly custom? Black her out? Sleek her down? Maybe a contoured cut out steel dragon wrapped around the tank and tig welded on before painting...(to give it some interest and cover a couple dings)

More pics etc at the link...but it's a CB750...a 91 Nighthawk. Runs and rides...needs some TLC...I picked her up for free (sort of...)

I've been itching for a project...just not sure if this is it or not. Gotta decide whether to just clean her up and flip her back out to another new rider, or do something more...radical...

fix it and set it free. the nighthawk was a good bike throughout the years for honda. If they had made an 900 or 1100 in that style instead of stopping at 750 they would have had a real winner.

          I know I know I know!!!

Send her about 40 miles west (or so)... I know someone who will take REALLY good care of her...

My first bike was a 450 Nighthawk and WHAT a GREAT bike!!! It just didn't have enough power... I don't think that will be a problem with the 750... well.. as much anyway...

Y'all have seen the 919, yes?

            Honda 919

Essentially a 920cc inline-4 fuel injected standard. I've ridden one. The kick ass.

Pretty much the only (new) standard left out there I think...

I have to admit the CB919 tempting but so is the Kawasaki 1200 Eddie Lawson replica.

You could spraypaint it black, call it a chopper and sell it on fleabay for 3000. I've seen it done. That's how my friend bought his first bike. It was a totally stock shadow with primer black paintjob. He told me he bought a chopper, I told him to take it back and get a chopper it that's what he wanted.

Keep the paint. What would you sell if for running and fixed up? My best friend neeeds a bike badly. He is looking at a CB500 on ebay. He really wants an XS but he can't afford the ones in the area. PM me if you really want to sell it when it is running. Or, I will PM you
