      Day Late, Dollar Short!

      Hey Bruce,

You really NEED to get your home computer up and running!!

Yeah, Mathh posted about his bike, the mods, and such, and IIRC, someone also posted the link to that web site for more details about some other bikes and frame mods that were being done. But, yeah, it's heck trying to understand it!

IX-ES the club the Netherlands has been since 2006 no longer active. Desondank want we for XS1100 the liefhebber nevertheless still a spot on the electronic motorway preserve, where one can more or less structured contact maintenances or information can exchange. The guest book and the forum offer to this end the possibility. The Internet site will still further be filled with interesting items, but the "club" will play, except keeping up the site, exclusively a passive role. To technical or general supply, demand and question of components etc., by visitors of this site will therefore be reacted will have. We are for that purpose unfortunately no longer in the occasion.

Works very well sometimes, and not so hot others.
Kinda neat is that you can post to other language sites by translating stuff both ways. Have had some fun, try it..............

I have been chairman of this club for many years. A couple of years ago we decided that the younger generation should have a go with the club as we no longer had the time to actively run the club. Well..... they just needed one and a half year to make sure the club was as dead as humanly possible. My friend and fellow Member of the Board Ferry Labbé supported the old site until 2006. When the club died support ended.
As blood runs where it cannot go, the old Board decided to save as many from the archive as possible and put it on the net for fellow enthusiasts. XS1100.com is the result of Ferry's work over the last couple of months.
Regrettably he lives on the other side of the country, but we made an appointment to meet in the next couple of months so I can learn to modify the site as well. I will discuss the language problem with him and I will try to translate the site into English.
Keep your fingers crossed but do not hold your breath...
Maybe it is a good idea to motivate him via the sites' guestbook to keep up the good work.
