I almost think a pic with the owners included might be a good idea. That way more members can see what each other looks like.

Now that's a good idea. I always wonder what most of you guys look like and that would be a perfect way.

ED...I was joking about the "girlie" calendar...

        bike nominations and voting?

I've forgotten already, are we voting on which bikes are included on the '07 calendar? And can we nominate someone elses bike for the calendar? Don't want either of my XS's in the calendar yet but I do want to nominate a couple of bikes for the calendar:

        AKMac's Chrome Queen seen here
        and
        xschop's Blue Streak seen here

Well I got a little bored so I decided to share some pictures of my bike that I took today. The first picture looks like it should be in a XS11 calender!
on second thought, it appears that SOME people had an unfair advantage in preparing their bike EARLY for the calendar!

I still stand by what I said earlier... maybe a smaller inset with the owner's picture?
Something was said about putting a short write up on the featured bike below the pic... maybe put the owner's pic there?

Erik, WRITING ON THE CALENDER WOULD BE SACRILEGE!!!!
I stand by my writing on it. It's like the 11; Sure it's nice to look at, but you gotta use it too!

Plus I'd rather have pics of 11s in my kitchen than an big utilitarian chunk of white with numbers on it.

Hey Brian_d: I looked at your bikes and they are beauties. Why not enter them?
No we aren't voteing yet. I'll be starting a new thread soon with an e-mail address for posting photos. I don't see why we can't allow at least a couple of months for getting the pics posted Then we'll vote on them.
More later. Gotta get to work!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"

E.Liberty, those are not my bikes!

I haven't seen AKMac post on here since last year and I'm not sure that xschop will post in this thread, so I wanted to nominate them (to be voted on).

                  About those rider pics...

Oops, my bad! You folks sure you want pictures of the riders in the calendar?

Sure we can! I tell ya what I think:
Big picture for the month, bike only, good quality, high resolution, plus 2 or 3 smaller photos of interesting details of the bike to be printed smaller and on the side with comentary. Birthday photos featuring the bikes with the riders to be printed on a seperate page. The small photos to squeeze into those tiny squares just don't do it for me. I say save the "day" squares for birthdates and special events.
The email address for posting your photos: XS11photos@sbcglobal.net.
Please check out seperate post for more details.

                      Oh my! Why Ed!

What eyes! but still... that image is moderately disturbing...

A "head"light? Your head in a bucket? Good thing it isn't a bucket seat... then people would be forced to sit on your face...

and with that... I'm going to go be productive...

Thanks for getting this calendar together! Can't wait to see the finished product!

I like the calendar but lettes keep it simple. What do ya think of putting together a book of The XSive with all are bikes and us and rallys and such in it .
