Does anybody know where i can get one of those tools that measures the oil in the middle and final drive or is there an alternative some thing that i can stick in to measure the oil levels in those little hole thingys.

Go to Tech Tips from MAIN FORUM PAGE, scroll down, it's either in the Mods section, or maintainance, but might even be in the MISC section, tells you how to make your own dipstick!
They are also still available from Yamaha for a few bucks!
