New old one

Headed off to the backwoods of NC today to pick up a 81 XJ650 that a friend bought. Bike has not been riden in years thro the PO says he started it up 6 months ago. Plan is for me to get it running good and rideable then it goes to its owner in Melborn FL. I'll post pic when we get there. Wish me luck

I looked at a bike like that one day & the PO said the same thing untill i got the scoop from his wife & said he hasn`t done a thing to it for years . So she told him to sell it, it was a good looking bike but man what a pain to fix up. You see mice had there way with the wires & had to replace the harnes to get it going again (76 CB 550)
