Today, on the way home from a long xmas trip, we stopped at a grociery store in a very small town. As we walked inside I noticed a very small looking coupe/racecar sitting on display. I joked with SWMBO that it was just my little boy's size (19 mo). As we were standing there looking at this little miniature hotrod, I could see in the engine compartment. I saw cooling fins and four exhaust pipes. Huh... I looked a little close it looked like my 11 motor. I walked around the other side and what did I see but four BS34 carbs with two double fitting K&N filters. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and stepped over the blockade of bottled water and looked for the side covers...Yamaha. Then looked for the vin stamp...4JN? Is it an fj1200? Regardless it was cool to see it in there.

Yeap, that is what it looked like. I thought that the fj1200 took a diferent larger carb? I guess they could have been different. They just looked a lot like BS34's.'81 XS1100 SH
