                    I got heated gear.

Actually, I got the money for heated gear. Now I have to get to the store.

And a Merry Xmas to All

I made out like a bandit

Just before Thanksgiving weekend, SWMBO gave me one of my gifts early...a new windshield. Yesterday I got a new helmet and leather jacket! In the tools dept. I got a Drill Dr. and a set of bolt extractors that work by gripping the outside of the fasteners. Here's a link to them. They are a cool idea.
                        http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...seBVCookie=Yes
What is really cool about them is that they are made at a small machine shop in Vassalboro Maine, that is owned by the son of my high school metal shop teacher, Gerald Watson, who happens to work there now. I have seen them made from raw stock, to finished product. Gerry told me that this shop has contracts to make them for all the major tool vendors.

Now there's a nifty idea! I could've used a set of those wrenches when dismantling my parts bike.

I got an early 'gift', 45 degrees and riding on Christmas eve! Looks like I'll be riding this weekend too, with temps in the 40's!

Santa brought me a digital micrometer and a tach/dwell meter.

Now all I need is snow, so I can tear her down for the winter maintenance.
