  • The Wildebeast is finished.

For those that remember some of my old posts, I have finally got the old girl on the road.

A run down of the history of the bike is Here

A couple of pics of the rideable(but never finished) bike.

Pretty much kept it as original apart from the following.

4 to 1 (Good headers don't require removal for filter change)
    Pods
    Shaved tank
    Drilled discs
Have since removed those air shocks on the back. Bloody awful ride.

    Still to do

Rejetting, Still looking for jets. A couple of local leads all turned to nothing. (Got your PM TC and may end up following that course of action)

Bit of a clean up and paint oon the handlebar controls.

Find/make new seat base and recover.

    New muffler

    Hope you all like

lol, I know what you mean. I went to the charity toy run a couple of weeks ago. 5000 bikes and only one XS1100. Me.

As tempting as Philip Island is, being self employed, taking the time off to make the journey is highly unlikely.

Quite a few WA people went over for the last one and had a blast. Very tempting, but...... Not very likely.
