Ive never heard of the ride. Do you have any information on it?
As for shipping to Oz. Do you have a price already and what kind of prep work do they want done to the bike before you can ship it?
Im thinking of shipping mine over and doing a trip around Au with my brother-in-law sometime in the future.

First bike was an: 1978 XS1100
    Second bike is an FJR1300.
    Now I'm restoring a '79 XS1100.

      trail of tears

      Hi Rush,
I have a friend in Alabama and she told me of the ride. I believe it attracts a huge number of riders. One thing I read put up between 90,000 and 150,000 bikes.
Its more a spectacle thing for me although I have been reading Dragons link and his yarn about Route 66 and it looks mighty good.
Understanding that in Oz a lot of things are almost mythical as to places and events

      .
I dont have a price or what to do as far as shipment goes but I will try a couple of places here and get that back to the list.
May I suggest that you look at maybe joining the Ulysses group over here. It has 20,000 members and is moving outside Ausstralia now.
They are just a group of over 50s...junior member under 50 that have riding cycles in common.
