Lord above I’d love to go! I’d love to meet y’all, and look up a kissin’ cousin in east Texas that I haven’t seen in years. Timing- wise, Memorial Day week would probably work for me. Just about any time in the spring or fall. Summer is out. If I tried to do an Iron Butt ride in the middle of summer, a la DiverRay, I thank Ah would Dah!
Money wise though things are going to be pretty tight. I’ve been out of work for a couple of weeks and the bills are piling up. I’m a wood floor contractor and this is the worst I’ve seen it in years. I may still be trying to climb out of the hole by then.

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
    I've been riding since 1959.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!
