    need help from fellow members

    my bike is in need of replacement parts and it has become rather aparent to me that I am not going to recieve the parts from yamaha as I have had the part on order for over 6 months now...

    I need a vacuum valve and two petcocks for my xj1100. If any of you out there have these or know where I can get them please let me know, thanks for any help you can give me.

    Do a search on the Internet for local Yamaha shops. They can get you what's readily available.

      Are you completely missing these parts? If you still have the old ones, they can be rebuilt. Chances are that anything you'll find on Ebay may also need to be rebuilt....

          Vacuum valve?? As in the octo? If that's what you're talking about, I'll send you the whole octo for the price of shipping. I jerked that thing off even though it was still working and point and giggle every time I go by it!

            And also.. that link in Ebay... somebody better try to buy that whole bike from that guy! A 1980 1100 Maxim has got to be pretty dog-gone RARE!! lol..

              the octo? If your talking about the diaphragm that both of the petcocks flow into then thats the one. thats awsome if you could send me that. Just email me and I'll give you my mailing address and we can work out a how much the shipping will be. Zepplin_18@hotmail.com
