  • Whatever happened to H2O car?

I remember some time ago seeing a thread about this guy who invented a way to make Hydrogen on board his dune buggy and it even had a video demo of him filling up with water and driving away. I wonder if anyone knows what happened or can find that thread again. I'm wondering why we all aren't filling up with water. Maybe the auto comapnies bought his invention and squashed it, or maybe the oil companies squashed it, or him.

If rumors are true and we're using-up all the fossil fuel then I don't want a water-powered car.
I'd rather the world run out of oil than run out of water (I wonder if that's why we had to leave Mars so longago?).

That's strange. Folks were talking about that fellow at work just the other day and how he had been killed. I wasn't paying close enough attention.

I must have hit the wrong button. I thought this was channel 11 but it's obviously the Sci Fi Channel...
