  • Ghost Mtn Riders Run

It’s approaching time for the annual Ghost Mountain Riders “Last Daze O’ Summer” run. If you’ve never ridden with 700 bikes, with the CHP stopping traffic for you… well you’ve missed out on a thrill for sure!
It’s mostly Harleys and Harley clubs, but it would be great to get a couple of more Xsive bikes so I won’t be the only one!
Great scenery and roads, including 101, Skyline, and Hwy 9.
Send me a PM, or respond here.
    Check it out at http://ghostmountainriders.com/events.html

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
    I've been riding since 1959.

Hey Ed, this looks like a possibility if I get my forks back together. I assume you've done this before. I think that getting there in time would be no problem. When does everyone get rolling? I've always wondered about riding until I was tired, then throwing a bag on the ground and sleeping until it's time to ride again. Of course, if things finish up early, it's not so far that I can't ride home and sleep in my bed...

      details, details...

      Hey LoHo-
Would be great to have you join me for this ride. Sign up is 9 to 11 AM. at Don Quixote's resturant in Felton, on the corner of Hwy9 and Grahm Hill Rd. There is a cool poster viewable on the Ghostie's website on the link I posted above.
The ride is over by mid afternoon, but the festivities go until the evening when the partying starts. I usually bug out about dark, but there are places to stay at Camp Krem.
We can't go on not meeting like this. Well, we did shake hands once in Tahoe, but the meeting was all too brief.
      Ride on!

So Ed, how was the ride? Anything to report?

I've done my seals and that went fine, but now I have almost no brakes, so I may wind up doing a MC rebuild. The hits just keep on coming....
