  • Kawasaki Manuals

    Ok, here's the deal.
When the new owners took over, Kawasaki registered us as a new dealership and sent us cases of new manuals. (We sent most of them back)
The manuals below are duplicates of what we already had. They are used, but in very good shape (Yes, my greasy fingerprints are included, free)
They will go on Ebay this winter unless someone here, or someone you know, needs them first.
They retail for around $60, they cost the shop around $30, the boss says I can let them go for around $15, but I have a lot of leeway(give or take... the heavier ones will cost more to ship)
Could you find them cheaper on Ebay? I don't know. Haven't researched that yet. (Ebay is a project for winter down-time)
If you see anything you might be interested in, PM me the model, year and serial number of the machine and I'll check the manual to make sure your series is covered in it.(Vulcan 750 A, B, C, etc)
Suppliment: This is not a complete manual!
For example:VoyagerXII. The basic Voyager manual is for year 1986. The Voyager has remained virtually unchanged over the years, but as modifications have been made, instead of printing up new manuals each year, they just print "suppliments" to the original with the changes included. So, the Voyager suppliment listed below isn't the basic manual, but is a thin manual detailing the new data added from year to year. (still cites technical data, but no detailed disassembly instructions, and such)

    Prom,
If you happen to find an extra KL250. '80 manual or a KZ550 ~'82 manual I could use them. The 250 is the hard one to find, as it was a two year only machine! I'd be happy with the tune up specs on a photocopy at this point. I was given the bike, and it will be dirt only.
PM me if you can help.

"A ray of hope for Ray."

      Ray, here's what I found.
I found microfiche dealing with the KL250. Actually, I sort of found several fiche. I may have a few that encompass your year and model.
PM me all the pertinant info on the bike, and give me the serial number so I can verify from the fiche exactly which one you have. If I have an extra fiche, I'll send it off to you. If I only have one shop copy, I can take it to the library and copy the Technical Data page from it fer yea.
As fer da KZ550... I had that one hidden in my private stash o' books. (Unfortunetly, I can't part with it) For the '82 KZ550, the manual covers:KZ/Z550-A3, Z550-B3, KZ/Z550-C3, and the KZ/Z550-H1.
Again, if you'd like me to make copies of something, unless you know exactly which model you have, send me the serial number so I can match it up. (there are six different pages of wiring diagrams dependant on the model) (They're old and in color, so I don't really know how they'll turn out)
