.. i have recently recieved a very excellent fork brace from Tkat also. what a great improvement to the handling of my otherwise rubbery feeling old turd. i didnt know just how rubbery it felt until i put the super cool brace on. WOW it's so easy to throw into a corner now and very stable. i think everyone should have one of these... good luck motoman

motoman,
Tkat has just gone through some more surgery. He should be back to you early next week.
I was just at his place last week, and he does have some fork braces built up.

Yes, just outpatient work on his knee, from a motorcycle meets car. He said it was just to "clean up" the knee from the old guy who turned in front of him. But then, we are all getting to be "old guys" now.

Polish it up first.
Tkat makes an excellent product, by the way. Top quality throughout.
When I got mine I did a dry fit to make sure all was right and then I took an hour or so and carefully sanded the parts with 320 grit and then 600 grit sandpaper. Then I hit the buffing wheel first with jewelers rouge on a spiral wheel and then colored the metal up with white compound on a loose wheel.
Damn! The thing looks great!Mike Giroir

Got mine.
I got mine about 3 weeks ago. He returned my emails promptly! (thank you!) I spent a few hours on mine polishing it up. Damn, it looks good. It handles even better than it looks. I am glad there are people out there still making things for our old butt beaters.Bill

The illegals are all on the way to other states, and the "big citys" (SF and Hollyweird) have most of the suspect "men". The real thing we don't have around here is the COLD season. Winter isn't as cold as it is back there, and once you've been banged up a few times, the old injuries tent to hurt more as it gets cold.
So I guess I shouldn't say much as I ride to work in the 60 degree cool of January? Or rub in the fact I ride YEAR AROUND
