  • XS in Wa state area

I was driving down the road in Graham Washington today, and saw an XS1100 for sale for 750 bucks today. It's pretty rough looking, but looks like it's all there, including hard bags. Speedo said 55K on it. Anyone interested, I can take a few pics tomorrow (Monday) and give you the phone number listed on it.

That is the one I posted about in the Two in one day thread. I live just down the road from it. It will probably have a new home this weekend

I don't know if you have talked to them already and how set on that price they are, but I would at least try to to talk them down a bit. I had posted that, kind of in a hurry, then this morning saw your posting, and wondered if it was the same. Sorry if I gave away your secret! lol.. With some time and TLC, it does look as if it will clean up alright. Looks like lotsa leaks on it, but it's pretty straight.
I'm an outty from the great state of Washington in the morning. Back to the land of rednecks, hicks, and Cody's I go! How I ever took this for granted in my back yard when I lived here... I will never know!

See ya next time in Okie-town USA,

            "The Disappearing Mountain."

For those that don't know... The sky, even in summer, is often so overcast here that you can't see the Mountain at all! Just looks like trees and a blue sky on the horizon most of the time.

I'd take that over the vast expanse of concrete we have in our area... I don't normally get jealous... but I feel a little green right now... and it certainly isn't the grass around here.

I am going to try and talk him down some, I paid less for the nicer one I am riding now! It does have a lot of surface rust that will be a pita to clean up. There is quite a bit of crazing also. He only has it out there on the weekend. The guy is an old-timer who has parts for a bunch of older stuff for bikes. Unfortunately most of it looked like junk from the short look I got. I will be stopping by w/my bike (no name yet) this weekend and checking it out again. If I can get it for $500 i'll take it, otherwise I have too many vehicles right now as it is (32' trailer, vw bus shell, -brother and neice-my 85 ramcharger, 79xs, boat trailer, work van, one roomie has a van, a pathfinder, and a datsun truck, the other roomie has a F150, a geo, and a rx7, and will soon be driving a work van). No garage either! just a gravel drive and acre.

That picture looks like it was taken a few minutes from my house, She is a beauty when you can see her.
Hey Prom, I'd love to go for a ride w/you one day, see how mine runs up against a Masters ( after I get my forks fixed up and some tires of course

"The Master is still Slavishly toiling."

Hadn't forgotten about you, Johnboi. Am still fighting to finish outside projects before the rains begin.
Last weekend, with the exception of nailing up a few remaining boards, almost finished my fence project. (has taking me two month's worth of weekends, so far)
On the way to Home Despot to get more nails, I stopped at a yard sale and bought 8 more dolls. I was overjoyed. Now, I almost have enough doll heads for each fence post! (I only use the one's with their eyes open, as I feel that staking doll heads with their eyes closed would look a little morbid)
Need to use the remaining dry weekends for the sealing and staining.(I'm off on Sundays and Mondays, so I only get to utilize my "offspring" labor on one day.
Once that is done, have to order several loads of fill and topsoil to level the whole backyard, throw seed about(or get that company that sprays the "green seedy stuff")... Must all be done before the rains come and the dogs tear the place to sh!t.
Had I thought about it earlier, I would have mentioned that the shop had an "Open House" last weekend. Would have been a great time for Xs's (like yourself, DennyZ, etc) to get together, bullsh!t and eat free food!

Oh Yeah! I agree with you completely!! *Rolling own eyes! So do we now have headless AND topless little guards watching over the place? lol. Pro... come here and sit down on this couch and let's have us a little talk! lol

Sure... the one time I'm in town in 20 frikkin years... and we still gotta hear the "Oh yeah I forgot" story... Somebody go do a drive-by at his place and take out a few doll eyes with a B-B gun for me will ya??

BTW... made it back to Oklahoma just fine... except for the hideously SCREAMING baby from Dallas to OKC. Luckily that is a short flight!
