  • Rethinking Mt. Hamilton Ride

I started a new thread because I wanted to be surer to get everyones attention.

Since we didn’t hear from UncleSpot regarding the Mt. Hamilton Ride, I thought I’d send him a PM. He responded that he couldn’t make it on Sunday. I wish you had told us that sooner, Unc. My CB friend only lives a mile from me, and as much as I’d like to get him in on this ride, we can always go for a putt on another Sunday with Ray.

I feel badly about this because UncleSpot instigated this as a result of missing out on the Tahoe Rally. I’m perfectly willing to ride on Saturday if that is the only day UncleSpot can ride. Is it too late to reschedule?

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
    I've been riding since 1959.

    Ed,
    I sent you a PM...
explaining why I couldn't make Sunday *mornings*:

"I can do early SaturDAYs or Sunday afternoons:
Sunday I'm the 'sound guy' in church for the band and pastor
(6am-12Noon) and right after that I help a guy that's had a couple of strokes with stuff around his house - so his wife "gets a break" (working with his speech therapy, and physical therapy: 1 hour on a walker, and 'dexterity' with the hands) - this usually takes me 'till 2pm; kinda late to start up Mt.Hamilton....

Yea Ray! Thanks for checking in. Think I'll PM Loho to see if he can make it.
