  • Remembering 9/11

    I know we're being flooded with media about this 5th anniversary of the 9/11 attack.

    I'd just like to say that the attack is on my mind alot. I grew up with the assumption I am safe in America, no one would dare to attack my country.
    It happened and it has made me aware of my place in the world. I'm not paranoid, just more aware.
    My commeration of the anniversary (I've done this every year) is a red, white and blue ribbon across my badge, like the black band of mourning. I am mourning the loss of everyone on that day 5 years ago, but I'm also showing my love of my country and our strength.

    This is not a political statement but a small way I can show that I care and support all of us.

    Maybe that was the point.
    Looking from outside... take a good look at how "democratic" the US are.
    Be careful who you vote for. And where you send your troops and why.
    Besides, what happened then was not just an attack on the US.
    There is also no excuse for what happened after...
